On 5 November Employment and Social Affairs Committee has tabled 3 questions for the oral answers to the Commission and one to the Council regarding various employment and social issues. They will all be put on the agenda during November plenary session in Strasbourg.

Questions deal with the implementation of the Employment Equality Directive Equality Directive, which should be better monitored; with EU Strategic Framework on Health and Safety at Work 2014-2020 which could be improved by setting measurable goals; and with the Europe 2020 strategy which should include not just fiscal consolidation but also employment and poverty reduction targets.
